Zara A/W 11 Lookbook

Here are some of my favourites looks from Zara's A/W 12 Lookbook. The outfits are a mix of ladylike and tough, a silk maxi dresse is teamed with a pair of tough ankle boots, and a plaid shirt is the accompaniment to a thigh split maxi skirt. There is a lot of black in the shape of tailored blazers, cigarette pants and dresses, and lace and sequins seem to have become the new feminine outfit materials. Each outift is great for a cold but glamorous Winter season and I cannot wait to try out some of the looks myself.

Only If For A Night

For the past 2 months I have been working on a research project about Erdem. After weeks of researching, drawing, analysing and writing, I have finally come to an end. I have to present my work on Thursday to my tutors, along with a presentation. We had to decide where we wanted the brand to go next, and I decided that film was the next best idea. My final outcome for the project was a short film I created on the emotions and movement associated with lace, which I see as a key part to Erdem's work. I am really happy with the film and hope it will serve me well when it comes to my presentation.

So, without any further ado, here it is.

Erdem Inspired

Erdem Pre-Spring 2012

This lace shirt is THE King of all shirts. It's white, has a loose fit, has lace shoulders and the perfect collar.

I am going to attempt to create shirt like this, but first I must find a cheap white shirt and some reasonably priced lace. Then, I will get creating.
