Having just taken over being the face of Dior Addict from Kate Moss, Daphne Groeneveld has very quickly worked her up the fashion ranks, so this new campaign for H&M's A/W 12 collection may seem a bit unexpected for her. She looks absolutely stunning in every image, giving off a great 60s vibe with heavy eyebrows, against her blonde bouffant hair. I know it's only August and we are only just getting a few days of sun here and there in England, but I cannot wait to start buying my chunky knits, wool coats and thigh highs for the upcoming autumnal months!

Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder? PART 2
So, as promised, here is the second half to the shoot I did for my friend at CSM. This time the garment had to be inspired by a designer, and she chose Miu Miu. We knew we wanted to photograph the shirt outside and she knew what look she wanted, so it was just a matter of praying that the day we picked was going to be a clear one. Luckily there was no rain insight and there was even a bit of sun, which made for great images and an easy, fun shoot.
Enjoy!

Fitting
Earlier on this week, like I said I would, I had a fitting with my model for my much awaited photoshoot. The fitting went really well and didn't take as long as I thought it would considering how many outfit changes we did. Here are a few photos from the session so you can see what i've been upto. Right now I am editing photos from the photoshoot that was yesterday, so I will post a few as I go along!

Acne A/W 11
Acne have always been one of my favourite brands as their minamilsm in shape and colour is something that I am deeply attracted to. For the styling project I am working on currently, I am going for a minimal, industrial feel for the photoshoot. This has led me to look at a lot of Acne, Alexander Wang and Calvin Klein as they all channel simple lines and structures in their collections.
Acne's A/W 11 collection is beautifully simple but still full of colour. Dresses come in leather and tulle, maxi skirts come teamed with large cut out fronts and shorts underneath and hemline lengths are played with throughout. Here are a few of my favourites looks from the Women's collection.

Zara A/W 11 Lookbook
Here are some of my favourites looks from Zara's A/W 12 Lookbook. The outfits are a mix of ladylike and tough, a silk maxi dresse is teamed with a pair of tough ankle boots, and a plaid shirt is the accompaniment to a thigh split maxi skirt. There is a lot of black in the shape of tailored blazers, cigarette pants and dresses, and lace and sequins seem to have become the new feminine outfit materials. Each outift is great for a cold but glamorous Winter season and I cannot wait to try out some of the looks myself.
